CAS Rabbit

I have been busy making cards for my Niece this week. I was inspired by a friend of mine & her CAS cards so decided to be brave & stamp straight on to the page.

 I used this cute Messy Rabbit stamp & coloured with my Promarkers. I then added a green grosgrain ribbon. Here is a close up of the image.

Paris Elegance

I was meant to have blogged this last night but I was shattered when I got in from shopping, so it has had to wait until this morning. This is another family birthday card, only another 3 to go this month :-)

I have used this topper from the Everyday Essentials kit by My Paper Stash. I teamed it with Prima Botanical Papers. Here is a closeup of the image.

To make the paper ribbon across the card the toppers are bordered by printed card so I cut a strip across & added a couple of brads.

I took the inspiration of the sketch through to the inside of the card. The frame was the negative from the topper, which I cut round & layered on to white card to create the space for me to write my message. I again cut a strip of the printed card to add to the layout. x Clare x

15 Year Old Zombie!!!

QUICK RUN & HIDE!!!! The ZOMBIES ARE HERE!!! Lol!! Well I hope that woke you up!! I was askd by my lurverly son the other day to make a card for his best friend who is 15 today. So, as we all do, I asked "Soooo what is he in to?" "ZOMBIES" came the reply.........

I find this image on my computer & coloured using my Promarkers. I followed the sketch over at The Sketchy Challenges. I used a couple of Halloween freebie papers that I had downloaded. I couldn't find a piece of Hessian so I took a piece of 14 count aida, frayed the edges & then coloured with Distress Inks.

To make the RIP gravestone head I cut an ATC on my bug, embossed with my skeleton folder, inked & added a RIP using red card. x Clare x

Wedding RSVP

Today I have had to get my bum into gear & get a Wedding Acceptance Card made for our friends that are getting married next month.

I have used the Sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches & used a Jolee's Boutique Embellishment that I had floating in a drawer. The ribbon is actually "handmade with love ♥" ribbon that I placed carefully so you just see the "with love ♥".

I have left the inside pretty simple & again carefully placed the ribbon. x Clare x

Dragon Birthday Card

Looks like my mojo is beginning to make a comeback!! I have today finished a card that I started 3 weeks ago. The image has been sat coloured but I just couldn't complete the card. Today it just fell in to place :-)

I have used this fab Dragon image & coloured using Promarkers. I used the Sketch over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp & raided my paper stash. I added a ribbon, star button & gems from my stash.

I then took the theme to the inside of the card, adding the ribbon & another star button. x Clare x

Easter Treat

Our second challenge was a swap & we had to make an Easter Treat or Packaging. I don't do this type of thing that often so it was definately a challenge. I bought a chocolate bunny from a local shop & decided to make a bottle tag to go on it. Here is the finished result.

I used Kraft Card as my base & followed the Sketch at SSW. I coloured the image with Promarkers & couldn't help but add a bit of bling. x Clare x

Christmas Card

Our Craft Group celebrated it's 1st birthday last week so we set a couple of challenges to celebrate. The 1st challenge was to create a project to celebrate a "1st". I had originally set out to create a Baby's 1st  Christmas Card but my card seemed to take on a life of it's own. Here is the finished result.

I used a Kanban stamp & coloured it with Promarkers. I accented with a small amount of Glamour Dust to the wings, Dress & Dove. I then added some Red Stickles to the berries on her garland.

Summer is coming......

Well Spring is getting here at last!! I have finally had chance to get a card made this afternoon. I originally coloured the image in about 3 weeks ago, but just hadn't had chance to make it into a card until today.

I have used this fab image again, coloured with Promarkers & teamed it with freebie papers from various magazines.

Here is a close up of the image. I created the banner from 3 sections & used a combination of doublesided tape & foam pads to give different heights.

I took the sketch through to the inside of the card & added a section for the message to be written x Clare x
