I took an A5 card & covered it with a blue vellum from my stash. Down the left I added a panel of Gold Sparkle paper from Inspire Me. The heart border was created using my Fiskars heart border punch. The rectangle was cut from a sheet of Soft Green Pastel paper also from Inspire Me. Using my nesties I created two ovals using the same papers. The bunny is a download from the Easter Bunny range from Cuddly Buddly. The two flowers are Jolee's & were floating around in my stash. Across the top I used a banner peel off & using gold letter peel offs wrote Happy Easter. Then at the bottom I added a Happy chipboard sticker. These were all from my stash. To match the inside I added a square of the blue vellum & an oval of the pastel paper. I used four flowers to hold the corners of the vellum down. These were done with my quickie glue.

ABC & A Spoon Full of Sugar
Well I can't actually believe what I have managed today. This is my last card today & again it covers two challenges. The ABC Challenge this week is Blue & Brown & A Spoon Full of Sugar had a sketch challenge so I was able to combine both to create one card.I used a 6x6 white card as my base & added two HOTP papers from my stash. The two ribbons & yacht charm were also in my bits & it is great to be able to use some bits up. The image is Wilbur & comes from Pollycraft. I added two peel offs to spell out Birthday Boy.
The inside of the card was again created using the HOTP papers & I thought I would try something different by cutting slots in the paper & feeding the corners of the white paper into these slots. I got the desired technique but I think I need a bit more practise for the lining up of the slots.

Sketch Saturday Challenge
I just couldn't wait to get started on this challenge it meant I could have a play with my new cd again. I am really excited about this cd as I have been asked to act as an agent for this company selling their cds. Its the first time someone has asked me to take on their product rather than me approach them. Anyway on with the card.....I adapted the sketch slightly to fit an A5 card as I was using a fairly large image. The base card was a sheet of 12x12 cardstock from my stash that I cut down to A4 size to make my A5 card. All the layers on my card were from Crate Paper and the range is known as the Static Collection. The image as I said before is taken from a a cd that I bought from Kismet Creations & it is Hoodie Boy from the Generation TeXt cd. The circles at the bottom are 2 dome stickers from the Cody collection by Love Elsie. The yellow disc is from my stash which has a silver peeloff that reads enjoy.
The inside of the card has again 2 pieces of cardstock from the Static Collection. I have cut off the corners of the base layer & the top layer I have punched a quarter of a flower using my Fiskars punch. The top right hand corner has then been folded over.

Secret Crafter & CCS Challenge Card
This weeks sketch challenge on The Secret Crafter has tied in nicely with a challenge Kaz_za set on CCS forum. The challenge is to make a card using an unused stamp. Well what's hard about that....... only choosing which stamp to use lol!!
In the end I decided to use my Magnolia stamp with the back of the cat. I stamped it up using my black Stazon ink pad. I coloured it using a brown colouring pencil & added Star Dust Stickles to his wings. Then I cut round it once the Stickles had dried. In the meantime I took a 6x6 white gloss card & added a dark pink card onto this. I then cut a square of vellum just smaller than the card & then cut it on the diagonal. To make the photo corners I cut a stamp out using my cuttlebug. I then cut the square into 2 triangles & using the end of my ruler cut a triangle from the bottom of each half. (I hope this makes sense!). I attached these to the corners of my vellum which gave me an area behind the vellum to attach double sided tape to secure the vellum to the card. In each corner I also added a flower with a salmon pink brad from my stash. In the centre of the card I added 2 circles that I cut on my robo using a template from UKScrappers. The card is a pink doublesided cardstock from my shop. Onto this I foam padded my cat.To decorate the inside I again cut a triangle from the vellum & added 2 gems. Under these I used my quickie glue to attach the vellum to the card. In the righthand corner I added a Kelly Panacci flower sticker & the centre is a circle sticker from Remisce Genuine Girl. I added a gem to the centre. Unfortunately it hasn't scanned too well but I cut a square of white paper which I cut & embossed the corners on using my Fiskars punch & slipped this in loose behind the vellum.

A Sign of Spring
This week's challenge at Cute Card Thursday Challenge is "A Sign of Spring". Well the word "Spring" always reminds me of collecting primroses for my Mum on Mother's Day. So the card I have created for this challenge is a Mother's Day card. I will also be entering it into the Scrapbooking Mad competition for February............I made a 6x6 card with lilac cardstock from my stash. Onto this I layered a piece of white cardstock that I have embossed with my Swiss Dots folder. On the left I have added a piece of backing paper from the Bouquet for Mum set by Sammy at Scrapbooking Mad. I have added liquid pearls Petal Pink to the centres of some of the flowers. I have added all but the 1st layer of the Bouquet for Mum set to the middle of the card. Using my Star Dust Stickles I added glitter to her hair bow. Across the bottom I have added a sticky ribbon from the Fantasy set by Dovecraft. In the corner I added 3 flowers & a jewelled brad from my stash.
On the inside of the card I reversed the layers by putting the backing paper on the right instead of the left. I added some more of the sticky ribbon down the join of the two papers. At the top of the ribbon I have added another flower with jewelled brad. In the centre of the backing paper I have added a piece of white paper that I decorated the corners with using my Fiskars cut & emboss corner punch.

I finished it off with another flower from the free pack.

Sketch Saturday & Birthday Card
Well I am finally getting back into the swing of things again (only taken 6 weeks lol!!). This week on Sketch Saturday there was a lovely sketch by Jeanette, click on the title of this post to view. For this card I thought I would dig deep into some of my old decoupage & see what I can come up with.........I used a glossy white card stock & I layered onto a lilac cardstock from my stash. The patterned paper is a cut down sheet of 12x12 that my Mum purchased in Australia. I have added in the corners 4 gems from Papermania. The sandy coloured square is the reverse side of some 12x12 cardstock I have in my shop & the green cardstock is the reverse side of Hope by Crate Paper. The flower decoupage as I said before is one that has been lingering unloved in my stash. It is 2 images from a multi sheet.
The inside of the card was created using a square of the patterned paper, with a rectangle of lilac card in the centre. I have added a small flower from the multi sheet in the corner.
The birthday card I have made is for my brother-in-law next week. He loves the outdoors & cycling. This card is made from a new cd that I bought at the Creative Stitches & Hobbycraft show in Brighton.
The background paper was from the cd by Kismet Creations. The green strip is the reverse of the dot card rectangle which is again Hope by Crate Paper. The image & text are both from the cd as well.
On the inside of the card I have used the same backing paper & placed a rectangle of white paper in the centre. This I have edged with peel offs from my stash.

Secret Crafter Challenge
This week on Secret Crafter, the challenge is to create a card that has something recycled on it. Well I sat all day yesterday racking my brains trying to come up with an idea. Then this afternoon it finally came to me....... I do a lot of Xstitch & have a few cards up in my stock room that I have never done anything with so I thought lets do something different. Well here it is.......
After removing the xstitched elephant from a card I had, I cut the Lilac card using a template from UKScrappers & put the xstitch behind the aperture. I added the Papermania butterfly stickers in the corners & a Best Wishes peel off from my stash.

In the inside of the card I mirrored the front of the card to create the cover for the xstitch. On the right of the inside I cut a rectangle of white paper & used the scallop from the aperture for the centre. Again I added the butterfly stickers round the edge.

Craftycardscrappers Challenge
Over on the Craftycardscrappers forum one of the members has set a sketch challenge for this month. Well I just couldn't resist......I have used a plain white base card onto which I have layered a sheet of doublesided scrapbook card from my shop. I have then layered 2 pieces of ribbon onto each other & embellished with 3 gems from my stash. The outer circle was a template from UKScrappers that I cut onto another sheet of scrapbook card. I topped it off with this adorable frog which I downloaded from Scrapbookingmad.com.
I decided I wanted to do something slightly different on the inside of my card so I added the cardstock from the outside of the card to the left of the inside & then on the right I added some plain white paper. The flower was created by layering 2 flowers from a pot I bought from Cuddly Buddly & added a gem to the centre from my stash xx

Cute Card Thursday & A Spoonful of Sugar
Well I am certainly on a roll this week, not quite sure how long it will last though lol!! I have managed to make 1 card to cover 2 challenges. Cute Card Thursday are asking for you to make a Valentine's Card & A Spoonful of Sugar is asking for a card or gift for somone special. So here it is....I stamped up the Whipper Snapper Tuxedo Kitten stamp onto white card & coloured in using a combination of pens. Details are at the bottom of this post. I took a white A6 card from my stash & covered it with a sheet of scrapbooking paper that I acquired from my Mum's stash, leaving a 1/2 inch gap down the left side. Down the left I added a cardstock sticker from the Fanciful Stripes & Flowers Range by Paper Heart. The centre of the card was created with a square of white card again covered with the scrapbooking paper edged with silver peel offs from my stash. Onto this I layered a pink cardstock sticker from the Kelly Panacci range. Tuxedo Kitten was then placed onto this using foam pads. In the bottom corner of the card I added a pearlescent tag that reads "I Love You" & a pearlescent circle with a crystal heart gem from Papermania.
To continue the theme onto the inside of the card I layered the right side of the card with the scrapbooking paper & a rectangle of white paper in the centre. To finish off the Valentine's theme I added a Febuary calender sticker from The Love Collection by Reminisce.

Y is for........
Yesteryear lol!!!! You have to design a card using an old stamp from the bottom of your craft box. Well have 2 boxes of stamps that I just had to have when I first started crafting & I have never really used any of them. So I chose a little butterfly stamp that I got from QVC about 3 years ago. I decided I didn't want to use it as the main image though, so I used it as embellishments. Here is my card.....The pink snowflake backing paper is from my ever faithful cardmaking cd. I have then stamped 4 butterflies using a black ink pad & coloured them using my pens. I have then cut them out & placed them in the corners of my card. I have added Papermania Iridescent Adhesive stones to their antennae to give them some depth. The decoupage image is Watering Can by Sammy Murphy at Scrapbooking Mad. The flowers have had Platinum Liquid Pearls to their centres.
On the inside of the card I have used the same backing paper & added some white paper in the centre. I have created the flower in the corner by placing 2 of the decoupage flowers on top of each other. I have again added Platinum Liquid Pearls to the centre.Pens Used on the Butterflies Tombow 623
