Camper Van

Morning Everyone

I was meant to be loading my card up this morning for the Daisy's Image Inspiration, but unfortunately I ended up in bed with a migraine so haven't got my card made yet, so I will be trying to sort that later today.
So instead I thought I would show you the Camper Van card I made for my BIL. I am hoping he has now got it as his birthday was on Saturday :-)

I decided to give the card a bit of a Retro feel & I am just loving the Black, Red, Grey & White colour combo at the moment. The stamp is from a set by KARS & I coloured the image using Promarkers. The outside of the image is coloured using Copics. I then layered onto black card cut with a scalloped circle nestie. The paper is D&D Trick or Treat. Just love the fact that this is a Halloween inspired paper & I am still using it in February!! The Happy Birthday are stickers & the ribbon is from my stash.

Just Snoozing...................

Happy Valentine's Day!!! Hubby & I don't worry about it too much although he does like to do the odd little thing throughout the day. Had breakfast in bed this morning & a text message mid morning :-) Youngest son asked me for a birthday card today so I have made this for him.

The image is "Just Snoozing" by Digistamp Boutique. He has been coloured with Promarkers & layered up to create a 3D image. I added White Opal Liquid Pearls to the beer glass.

The image has also had Distress Inks added to it. Cut out using my circle cutter & layered onto a scalloped circle. I then added 3 eyelets to the page. The sentiment is a Pink Gem ticket.

I followed the theme through to the inside of the card & added some cut out beer glasses to the inside x Clare x

Daisy Doodles - Sketch Challenge

Wow, these past 2 weeks seem to have flown by. We are back again with another challenge over at Daisy Doodles. This week Jules has created a sketch for you all to follow. I have to say that my card wasn't plain sailing this week but I got there in the end. I have some first attempts involved too :-)I used the gorgeous Amy on my card this week & coloured her using the new Limited Edition Promarkers from Letraset. They are fabulous & mix so well with the other colours. I also used some of my other Promarkers to finish Amy off.

I then created my first ever hat pin & I am fairly pleased with the result. I added it to some flowers & flourishes. The papers were some HOTP Icy Rainbow freebies.

The base of the easel card was created using a self adhesive laser cut sticker, ribbon, more flowers, flourishes & gems. The sentiment was found in the bottom of basket of sentiments that I have had for years, to which I added a small heart gem for the dot of the i x Clare x

Oriental Peony Card

Morning Everyone, I hope you have all managed to survive the snow over the last couple of days :-) I have another quick card for you today, again using a CUP sheet. This one is a corner stacker & the sheet is available here.

I cut all the elements off the sheet & then layered them up onto a 6x6 card. On the white dots around the edge I carefully added peel off dots that were left over on a border sheet. I think there were about 140 in total lol!!

I printed out a second sheet & cut out the main image. I then removed the Peony from the centre & added it to the left of the card. I edged this with some border peel offs. The remainder of the image, was then added to the right with some white 120gm paper in the centre for somewhere to write on. x Clare x

Another Birthday Card

Hi Everyone. Another quick CUP card from me today. This one is called Pink Lace & you can find it here.

I printed off the sheet twice so I could use some of the pieces on the inside of the card. I added the Happy Birthday to it so it covered the daughter sentiment as I wanted this for a friend. Put some Pink Gems on the centres of the flowers.

The inside is the main image with the centre cut out & a plain piece of paper added to give you a space to write. Added some of the flowers & gems again x Clare x
