OSAAT #28 - My Last DT Card

I am hoping that Mr Blogger has behaved himself this week as I will be stood in the middle of a field when this goes live hopefully selling lots of my goodies at a local Steam Rally. This week at OSAAT is my last week on the DT. I have had a blast here & have made some wonderful friends but I am having a bit of a change of direction with things at the moment.
We are sponsored this week by KennyK downloads & the winner will get a choice of 3 images. The challenge is for you to create a Girly Girl card.

I got to use this fab shoe digistamp & as soon as I printed it out I knew that I wanted to paper piece it!!! So I grabbed my stack of magazine freebie papers & started playing. I love the way it has turned out. As it is getting to that dreaded time when we have to start thinking about Xmas pressies & things I have started getting some calenders made up. These are so easy to do when they are done as Easel cards. xx Clare x

CraftyCat Halloween

Evening everyone.....I feel a bit like a bus today......wow 4 posts in the one day lol!!! Right I thought I would get this last card posted up tonight so I could get it into a challenge or 2. I have been having a play with Tracy's Halloween cd & came up with this little easel card.

I am afraid that the picture quality isn't great as I was rushing to get it done & the lights weren't quite in the right position. I have used the spell books & cat images from the cd. To create the "pile" I have scored & curled the top book to try & give it a better effect. The sentiment is from some rub on transfers that I had & the paper is from D&D. I think the eyes in the dark are just great xx Clare x

Last Comiccarz

Morning everyone from a really damp Essex :-( Today I thought I would show you the last of the ComicCarz that I have created for Crafts U Print.

It has been great to be able to make some cards that I really haven't had to think about too much. Everything is on the sheet for you. I again printed off 2 sheets, using 1 for the front of the card & the other for the message area of the inside of the card. I layered the card front onto a pale orange paper before placing it onto the card.

Just to add some variety to the cards I added the tools in slightly different positions around the edge of the message area. xx Clare x

Incy Wincy Designs #55 - Yellow

Oh my goodness I thought I was never going to be able to get a decent card made for this challenge but I have to say I am really chuffed with my card. The theme of this weeks challenge is YELLOW. As long as you use Yellow as your main colour you can have other colours as well. It helps when you have a great sponsor like we have this week in Digital Delights.
Their images are just fab so if you have never popped into their world before grab a cuppa & head over there. They have given us this fab prize for you this week so while you are there put together a wish list lol!!!

Now before I show you my card I have to let you know that my sewing machine really doesn't come out very often & straight lines are definately not a strong point lol!!! I am sure though that I will get better with practise.

I used this adorable image that I coloured using my Promarkers with just a hint of Copics. Then feeling brave I got out my sewing machine & did some yellow stitching aound the edges of the layering. I added a sentiment that got a coating of Distress Inks. I am still new to these & need to read up on how to apply them a bit more I think. I added a couple of flowers & a couple of little clip things that I had. Clare xx

Another Comicarz

Good Morning Everyone. I have for you today another CUP card using Comicarz. These cards are just so easy to make as everything is on the sheet for you.

This time I have used the Scooby.... I backed it onto a dark red paper, decoupaged the image & sign & added the "Dirty and Lovin' It" sentiment at the bottom.

To make it an "All Year Round" card I cut the "caution" sentiment so it only read "Caution" & added the tools to cover up the cuts. I removed the image from the 2nd card front & layered onto a sheet of white paper to give a space for writing a message. Again I added some tools xx Clare x
