Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone I thought I would be brave & have a go at another challenge, so I toddled off into blogland & found this one on Sketch Saturday. So here's my effort. I used Black, white & red card from my stash, cream paisley scrapbook paper from Deja Views, black ribbon & silver squares from Stamps.co.uk. The decoupage is from my own stock on my website xx

Sketch Challenge

I made 2 cards for a sketch challenge on Craftcardscrappers for this month's challenge. Took a while to get my head round it but I did in the end. Still think there is definately plenty of room for improvement thoughThe card is a sheet of 12 x 12 Bazill Olive Green cardstock cut down to size & the paper is from Papermania's Simply Elegant collection. The "Are We There Yet" is from a K & Co TSV that I bought a year or so ago.

ATC Swap

Have done my ATCs today for a swap that I am involved in. This month were the letters M,N,O & P so I did Disney. I just love doing these ATCs, sometimes they are a lot easier than cards.

The first one I did is Mickey Mouse. I used a yellow card & embossed stars on it using a stencil & light box. I then added blue glitter to the dots. A small "M" dome sticker was placed in the corner.

I just love this Nemo one. I used 4 pictures & decoupaged them up. I had some 3D stickers of morning glory that were attached to some green covered wire, so very carefully I pulled the flowers of & attached the wire to give a seaweed effect. Again a dome sticker featuring the letter "N" was added to the corner.

I used a bit of Poetic license on this ATC. It is Roly from "One Hundred & One Dalmations" I used a plain white ATC & found a dalmation spot background. This was printed onto paper & stuck down. I then decoupaged Roly. As a knitter I have quite a bit of wool lying around I used a short strand of white glitter wool & a strand of black wool, punched a hole then threaded through. An "O" is again added in the corner.

This last one I kept fairly simple. Again pluto has been decoupaged & a small bee 3D sticker was added behind him. The "P" dome sticker was again added to the corner.

I've Finally Given In

I tried to do a blog a year or so ago & didn't have a clue what I was doing so I gave up, but now I thought I would give it a go again. Who knows, it might even work this time. Well I suppose I'd better start off by telling you all a bit about myself. I'm Clare, 35 & married to a wonderful guy called Rich who supports me in all my efforts to try & get somewhere in the world of crafting. I have 3 children, 2 of which live at home with me. I have 2 gorgeous cats & a rabbit. I have always crafted I suppose even when I was small we always had colouring books & I would spend many a summer tracing pictures & then colouring them in. I started doing Cross Stitch when I was living in Lancashire in 1992. I then took up Cardmaking in 2004 after I had exhausted my Cross Stitch by doing my Wedding Invitations. Since then I haven't looked back. I now along with everything else do Knitting & Pinflair as well.
