Another Birthday Card

Afternoon everyone. I just can't believe how lucky we still are with all this glorious sunshine. I am loving it. I think it may be responsible for my mojo slowly returning too.

Today I have made my niece Ellie's birthday card. Her birthday is tomorrow, so I have been cutting it just a tad fine......
I have used this gorgeous Smookie stamp that I snaffled from a friend of mine when she came to see me :-)


I have used these gorgeous papers from MME. Smookie has been coloured with Promarkers. The flowers are from my store.

I have carried the papers through to the inside of the card. I have to say I am really pleased with the way its turned out x Clare x

Roger's Funky Birthday

Good Morning Everyone from another glorious day here in Essex :-) I really can't get enough of this sunshine :-) Today I have a FUNKY card for you all. I have made this for my Stepdad's birthday which is today.

I have used this fab image by Lee Jacobs. Isn't he brilliant? I coloured using Promarkers. I placed him onto this amazing Retro Vintage Paper. My wonderful hubby then created the sentiment stamp for me in PSP. If you are a Liker on my Thread-bare facebook page, the stamp is available to download for a limited time. x Clare x

One for the Boys

Good Morning Everyone :-) Its another gloriously sunny day here in Essex. I have another card for you from my card order. This time I thought I would share a card for the boys today.I have again used another CUP sheet. I love the vintage style to this card. I cut out all the elements from the sheet & layered them up. I then added it to an A5 card which I coloured the edges with Distress Inks.

For the inside of the card I used a sheet of HOTP & used a single layer Jeep in the corner. I again edged the card with Distress Inks. x Clare x

Apple Blossom

Good Morning Everyone. I have for you today another quick card & bookmark set that I made last week. This time we have gone very elegant with an Apple Blossom image.

I printed off the sheet twice & layered up the decoupage. I then edged the card with various peel offs. In the centre of the card I added some more of the images & added Liquid Pearls to the stamen.

The bookmark I kept as a single layer & added Gold Stickles to the stamen. x Clare x

Blue Daisies

I had a fairly large card order last week for some cards & bookmarks, so I popped over to CUP to see what they had available. I loved this sheet when I saw it, well it is blue, & immediately bought it.

I printed it out twice so I could use more elements. Added gems, crystal lacquer & stickles.

For the inside of the card I just added a couple of the daisies to keep it from looking plain.

For the bookmark I added some more stickles to the dragonfly & crystal lacquer to the daisies. x Clare x

Card for Mum

What a glorious Spring Day we have here in Essex :-) I am hoping that it is also the start of my mojo returning. I seem to have been struggling to make any cards recently but I have made a bit more of an effort over the last few days.


The first of which is this card I made for my Mum. I am really pleased with the way the mouse came up & the digistamp is just adorable.

I coloured him using Promarkers & used Nitwit Papers that were free in a magazine. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday & I have added these fab flowers. x Clare x
