Another 75th Card

Hi Everyone from a wet Essex :-( Shouldn't complain, saves me getting the watering can out :-) Today I have the 2nd of the cards I have made for my Uncle.


The sketch is from a great site I found called Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge & they keep all their past sketches for you to look at. I have used this fab stamp by Pink Gem. I coloured the image using Promarkers with a Copics thrown in & added some stickles to the stars. Here is a close up of the image.
I took part of the sketch through to the inside of the card.


Unfortunately I can't do any cardmaking until this evening as I have run out of paper & need a trip to Staples, so I will be doing some knitting or Xstitch this afternnon x Clare x

75th Birthday Card

Afternoon everyone. Hope you are all well. Today I have a 75th Birthday card that I have made for my Uncle.

I used this fab kit from The Clip Art Fairy. The image came pre-coloured. I added some Highlights Dust to his beer froth, some braid & gems. I then created the sentiment in Paint Shop Pro. Here is a close up of the image.

I took the papers & sketch through to the inside of the card. I added a cheeky beer tankard to the inside of the card.

I still have another card to make for my Uncle, so I will hopefully be back tomorrow x Clare x

Evening Everyone. I hope that you are all well. We have had some lovely sunshine over the last few days but we are back to rain again this evening :-(
It is a busy month for birthdays, & our Best Man was 30 at the weekend. We popped over to his with his card & a Moussaka that I cooked him & his lovely fiancée. Anyhoos here is the card I made him :-)
I based my card around a sketch I found but then at the last minute changed it slightly. The papers are all freebies again. The image was coloured using Promarkers & I added some Distress Inks around the image. x Clare x

Summer Fun

Well in July I think we managed a few days of Summer so it inspired me to make this card. Again it is another birthday card. They seem to come thick & fast around this time of year :-)

I am not generally an ice-cream colour person but thought I would try it for a change & I'm pretty pleased with the way things turned out.

 The image was paper pieced using some freebie papers I downloaded & coloured with the usual Promarkers :-)

I took the papers through to the inside of the card & added a little tag in the centre. x Clare x
