Ellephantastic Challenge #26 - Birthday Challenge

Good Morning Everyone. Wow what a month April has been. The weather has been glorious & there has been a real feel good factor about England this month. We have had Easter, St George's Day & a Royal Wedding all within a few days of each other!!!

To carry on this feeling we have a fab challenge for you this month. The challenge is being hosted by Michelle & she wants to see your BIRTHDAY/PARTY projects. Our spotlight sponsor this month is the Digi Doodle Shop & we were lucky enough to get to use some images.

I found this gorgeous image called Cecil Wrapped Up & thought it was perfect. Maybe I should have looked closer. When I printed the image out the wrapping paper had holly leaves printed on it - ooops!!! So I got round it by Paper Piecing the wrapping paper with blue spots!!! The Wedding

OMG What a fantastic wedding. I don't know about the rest of you but there is just something so inspirational about Kate & William. I really hope they have a much better life together than his mother had. I am sure that William will be the perfect husband.

May Flowers

Afternoon everyone. Yes I know I should have posted this earlier but I took the morning off to go to our local market & pick up some veggies :-)

We have a fab challenge for you over at Daisy Doodles this week. We would like to see Flowers on your cards. I have to say I had great fun creating my card this week :-)

I do like it when I can "go to town" on a card lol!!! I have made a champagne bottle & placed it onto a DL card with has been covered with this gorgeous rose paper. I followed the template instructions although using peel offs I created the trellis effect where the cork is. I added the wedding bells which were coloured using mainly Promarkers. I then added a mixture of flowers to the large label & decorated with stickles. The neck label reads "Congratulations to the Special Couple.

Don't forget you no longer need to use a DD image to enter the challenge, so lets get those flowers out ladies x Clare x

Daisy Doodles - Easter

Good Evening Everyone. Running a tad late tonight. We have a new challenge for you over at Daisy Doodles this week. We are looking for you to all create some fab Easter Cards.

I have used a sketch that was on a card that I received from a lovely friend. I used a yellow polka dot paper & punched a piece of yellow card & white card. I embossed the white card using my bug folder. I coloured the image using Promarkers & added faux stitching around the edge I finished it off with a bow at the top of the egg & gems. I then printed a sentiment, punched out & added a glittered flower. xx Clare x

Ellephantastic Challenge #25 - Tamara's Challenge

Good Morning everyone. It is lovely & sunny here at the moment although we have rain forecast for this afternoon. But the washing is out & the rabbits are enjoying the warmth.

It is time again for another challenge over at Ellephantastic. Where is this year going? Tamara is your host this month & we have got the theme...Anything but a Square or Rectangle. I had great fun with this challenge as I got my robbie Robo out to create my card.

The card was created using an Octagon template that I stretched out to get the image on a bit better. I then cut a 2nd one out in black, cut round the lattice work, & cut out an aperture to place it in. I added border peel offs, flower peel offs & flat back pearls to the edges. I coloured the image in with Promarkers & attached her using glue dots. xx Clare x

Special Image Release!!!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone

We have a very special image release for you today. The lovely Helen from Ellephantastic has created a brand new Ronnie image to raise money with Crafty Emma. The image is available from Emma's Store. If you know Emma, you will know that she lost her Dad in tragic circumstances in 2009. Since then Emma has been fundraising for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service that flew her Dad to hospital.

Well, us Girls on the DT just had to get involved & create some cards to showcase the new image.

I have coloured Ronnie in using my Promarkers. I layered him onto an insert from the Seraphina Cd. I added gems to the corner of the image. I then added Jolee's flowers & leaves to 2 corners & spiral clips to the other corners. I then added a Happy Birthday to the Rub On.
As this is a fundraising card I am not going to enter it into any challenges nor am I going to give any recipe details xx Clare x
