Sympathy Card

Morning everyone from a very, very, white Essex. I have to say the scenery is stunning here at the moment & my bunnies are having a fab time. However, I am chasing my tail at the moment trying to get myself sorted for Xmas Day lol!!!

I was meant to have got this card made last week for my free card week at Daisy Doodles :-( I did get it finished on Saturday but had lost the light to be able to photograph it. Then yesterday I was running round trying to get some food in for Xmas.

So here is the card completed.

I haven't done any paper pricking for ages but love the way it looks when I do get time. This is a lovely pattern that gives a great effect. The image is of a Floral Cross. This is half price at Daisy Doodles at the moment. I have coloured it using my Copics. I have added peel offs to the corners. xx Clare x

Guest Designer - Craft Your Days Away

Evening everyone!! Yesterday was my last craft fair of 2010 & I have to say I have enjoyed them a bit more this year. I wish I could say that I would be relaxing over the Christmas period but I wouldn't be relaxing if I wasn't crafting!!!

I was thrilled on Monday to find out that I had been chosen as this week's Guest Designer over at Craft Your Days Away. This is still a fairly new challenge blog but I love their challenges. If you haven't been over make sure you do over the Christmas period. This is the last challenge of the year & will be running until 7th January so no excuses for not taking part.

The challenge has been chosen by DOREEN & the theme is "Punch It Out"

I have used this gorgeous stamp that I have had unused for 12 months & coloured in using my Promarkers. I then used my Woodware scalloped circle punch & layered onto a circle cut using my creative memories circle cutter. I used my MS punch to create the bands across the centre. The sentiment is peel offs layered onto a scalloped rectangle, layered onto a scalloped square which have both been punched using my Woodware scalloped square. xx Clare x

DD Challenge #23 - Festive Colours

Good Morning from a very white & pretty Essex. However, it is the frozen kind of white this morning. We have had freezing fog since last night so it's a tad icy out there today. So what better way to keep warm than to grab a cup of coffee & have a look at this week's challenge.
This week we would like to see you use Festive Colours on your projects & the winner gets a fab $10 voucher for the Daisy Doodle store. Please remember though you need to use a Daisy Doodle image or you won't be entered.

Right I have managed to combine my card with a few challenges again & I have to say I did enjoy making this card. my mojo has been a bit flat recently so it was good to feel it seeping back.I have used the Poinsettia image & coloured it using my Promarkers & Copics. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday. I used my bug to make the snowflakes as well as add some texture to the card. I have to say also that my dining room is now officially a glitter room as there is Glamour Dust everywhere lol!!!! Don't forget to pop by the other DT blogs & spread a little festive cheer this week xx Clare x

I can't believe we are into December already. I hope you have all got your Advent Calendars! As it is the 1st week of December that means I have stopped by at MAWTT & created a GD card. This week the team are being sponsored by Whimsie Doodles
As a special treat we were given some fab images to play with & these will be available to purchase from the 5th December. Anyhow here is my card

I have used the image of the little boy with the candy cane. This card is going to be put aside for my hubby I think. I have used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The lace was originally white & I have coloured it in blue using my Copic Pens.
