A Wedding Card

I was asked to make a Wedding card this week & I decided to get out my trusted Bookatrix board. The colour scheme of the Wedding was Blue, White & Silver. I was also able to make the card extra special as the Wedding was close by so I was able to add a photo of the couple signing the Register & then run it over to the Wedding Reception a couple of hours later.

The first page I cut a frame out of a parchment sheet that I had & used a horseshoe stamp that I coloured with Promarkers. I added some silver peel offs in the corners & border peel offs down the centre spine. I added a gem to the Horseshoe & a navy organza ribbon to the top. The couple's name was printed onto Safmat & added to the card.

For the front 2 pages I again added the peel offs & I found 2 jewellery links that I tied on with ribbon to represent Wedding Rings. I then printed the Wedding details onto Safmat again & added. The frame was again cut from a Parchment sheet & this is where I added the picture of the couple. In the centre of the card I added navy organza & a mixture of blue roses & white baby's breath.

On the last page I stamped a Wedding verse onto Safmat & added a Jolee's Champagne Bottle & Glasses. Again I added the same peel offs.

Lastly I made the box. I added the navy ribbon round the edge, used roses & baby's breath & edged the acetate with peel offs. x Clare x

A Little Chance to Play

Hi Everyone

I was lucky enough to have a builder free weekend & managed to clear my head yesterday enough to sit at my desk & have a play. I have been wanting to have a go at this CUP sheet for ages. I have to say it is a tad fiddly but was really pleased I gave it a go.

Aren't they just adorable? I am hoping to get a few more things made this week for a change so make sure you drop by x Clare x

Messy Rabbit

I have finally had chance to play with one of my Messy Rabbit stamps & I am really pleased with it :-) This is the 2nd of the cards my Dad asked me to make up for him.

I started off by using the Sketch over at Sketch Saturday this week but then got distracted as it went on but I am quite happy with the result. The image was coloured using Promarkers & then adhered using Letratac. I added Distress Ink to the papers.

I continued through to the inside of the card x Clare x

A Challenge Card

Well after spending 2 days tidying my desk this week I was actually able to sit down yesterday & create a card!! This is 1 of 2 that I have been asked to make for my Dad.

I have followed the sketch over at Cute Card Thursday & had fun creating this bow with a tape measure. I also love the Retro paper that I used on this card. x Clare x

A New Card

OMG!!! Where on earth has the time gone recently. Everytime I seem to catch up another week has past lol!! Well, we can finally report some progress on the roof being replaced. The scaffolding was finally up last week, but the roofers are starting on the house at the other end of the row so we will be the penultimate house to be completed.

While I have been awol I have been busy doing some fairs which have been fairly successful. I still have a few more to go yet so no relaxing until September lol!!!I do however have a card for you today.

This was made using another wonderful CUP kit. It is called butterfly garden & you can find it here I am just going to show you the pictures of the card & box today as there really is no need for explaining how it was made x Clare x

Couple of Cards

Hi Everyone

I am still really busy at the moment so I apologise for not posting many cards at the moment. I did however get a couple made yesterday. It seemed to take forever though to actually come up with an idea but when I fnally got past my mental block 2 cards seemed to come quite easily.

Both cards are made using sheets from La Pashe. I just love these Wacky Races sheets. I printed a gold square onto the cream card & then pressed out all the pieces. The only thing I needed to do then was add the black gems.

The inside was made using the large pyramid image & I cut out co-ordinating rectangles & edged them with Metallic Gold Promarker.

The second card was made using the Beetle. I added some freebie papers & an acetate sentiment. I added a gold gem. I kept the inside fairly simple.

Hope you all have a great evening x Clare x
