A Spoon Full of Sugar... Challenge #68
Another birthday card for my neighbour which fitted in perfectly with the sketch for ASFOS.

I used this brilliant digistamp by Duncan Pike. If you love his images you will need to get over to see his site quick as he is retiring a lot of his images next week. I have coloured him in using my Aquas. He has been layered onto papers by Crate Paper & some new Bo Bunny. The dome stickers are from my stash. The arrow is from a journelling sheet, the lettering are BG stickers coloured with my pens & the sentiment a rub on.
I have taken the papers through to the inside of the card but kept it fairly simple as the card is for a teenage boy. x
Don't forget my Blog Candy finishes tonight. Clare xx
Pens Used:
Aqua Promarkers : Sepia, Gold Ochre, Permanent Green, Cadmium Red, Blue Prussian.

Nearly Missed It ....Digital- Ink Co Challenge#1
The 1st ever challenge at Digital-Ink Co finishes in half an hour & I am just about going to make it lol!!! Their challenge was brilliant as they provided a digistamp of a Poppy which was perfect as a neighbour asked me to make a birthday card for her.
I used part of Heidi's sketch from this week's MAWTT challenge as I loved using it this week. The Poppy backing paper is from one of my fave scrapbooking companies Urban Lilly. I am sending my Mum out to Oz with a shopping list when she goes next month. I layered the Poppy onto a dark green embossed card. This was then layered onto a deep red mulberry paper. The ribbon is from my stock. The D&D diecut message was also layered onto the mulberry paper. I added 3 black gems from my stash.
I cut out another digistamp & just coloured in the flowers. Again I layered this onto the dark green card. On the other side I again used the Poppy backing paper & layered the green & white paper in the centre. x Clare x

Fantastic Xmas Kit

I don't normally use my personal blog to promote products that I have on my website but I just had to tell you about a fantastic Xmas cardmaking kit that I have available to pre-order. It is worth £150 but the rrp is only £29.99 plus p&P. It contains over 2500 pieces & everything is diecut. So why not pop over to my website & have a closer look. x Clare x
Christmas Time at MAWTT - Challenge 12
Well I have been able to avoid starting my Christmas cards that is until now. My lovely DT buddy Heidi decided that this week's sketch theme would be Christmas. So my 1st card of the year is done lol!!!!
Before I go on & show you this week's card I just want to say thank you for the fantastic entries for my challenge last week & there were some lovely comments about the blog & cards too. The girls & I really appreciate your feedback.
This week the lucky winner will get the chance to be Guest Designer for the next 2 weeks so why not have a go.
Now I've teased you enough here is my card for this week's challenge....
The backing paper is Snowflakes & Mittens by Rusty Pickle. I added 2 Christmas square stickers by Papermania. These have been sat in my embellishment box since I bought them last year, as I never got round to using them. The ribbon is from my stock. The snowflake is made up of 2 snowflake stickers that were in my stash. The main image is a stamp by Whipper Snapper. I so fell in love with these stamps last year & treated myself to a few Xmas ones but never really got to play with them properly. This year I intend to correct that so look out for lots more cards with this image. I coloured in with my Aqua Promarkers, details as always at the end of the post. I added White Opal liquid pearls to his eyebrows just to give them a bit of dimension & texture & what would a Christmas card be without Stardust Stickles. The sentiment again is from my stash.
Here is a close up of my image.
I have decorated the inside of the card but the light is not too good today so I will post it up as soon as I have been able to get a decent picture. xx Clare x
Here as promised is the inside of my card.
I have used one of the small square stickers on the left of my card. On the right I have used the Snowflake & Mittens paper, layered the dark green embossed paper & white paper in the centre. I have added the ribbon on the left again & used another snowflake embellishment to finish it off. x Clare xx
