Steampunk

...... well at least an attempt lol!!  Well it is freezing here in my craft room this morning but I have plenty of clearing up to do later that will soon warm me up.

 My card this morning is for a friend's daughter who will be 16 soon. I have had a go at Steampunk but think I may have to go on a wee spending spree to get a few more embellishments to really have a proper go at it.


 The image is just adorable & is from Mayzyart. I coloured her using Promarkers & went for a Sepia theme. The flowers were slightly brighter than this so I dulled them using Distress Inks. The embellies in the corner were brads & I removed the legs so I could sit them flat on the card. Here is a closeup of the image.
Tomorrow I will be back with a 40th Card x Clare x

    This is so cute! I love the juxtaposition of the soft flowers with the hard lines of the gears. Very steampunk!
